History will be made this Saturday night as a new professional wrestling promotion holds their first major event. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will hold Double or Nothing from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. All Eltie Wrestling is a new wrestling corporation founded by billionaire Tony Khan. Wrestlers including Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are both performers and executives within the promotion. Earlier this month, AEW had announced a television deal with TNT that includes weekly shows to air on the network

Below is complete the card for Saturday’s action.

  • Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho for a AEW World Championship opportunity
  • The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (c) vs. The Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero M and Fénix) for the AAA World Tag Team Championship
  • Cody vs. Dustin
  • Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose vs. Kylie Rae
  • Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki and Emi Sakura vs. Hikaru Shida, Riho and Ryo Mizunami
  • Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) vs. Angélico and Jack Evans
  • SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Strong Hearts (Cima, T-Hawk and El Lindaman)

I am excited for the event and I believe this could be an historic night in professional wrestling history. As someone who grew up during the "Monday Night Wars", I witnessed how two major wrestling companies made each night's product better. I'm driving to a friend's place in Utica to watch the action.
