Albany Empire Begin Single-Game Ticket Sales For The 2021 Season
Today is the day you can begin to buy Albany Empire tickets for single games for the upcoming 2021 season at the Times Union Center. Another big step forward towards normalcy as sports fans and an even bigger step closer to the Empire returning to the field with QB Tommy Grady looking to win back-to-back titles for the Capital Region.
Single-game tickets might sound like no news to you at first but they actually mean that there's enough room and capacity for us to pick and choose which games we want to go to. There are still guidelines to adhere to like all tickets will be sold in pods of 2 or 4 to abide by NYS social distancing guidelines. Prior to entry, all fans will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Obviously, those rules and the capacity could get even better as the season progresses.
Head Coach Tom Menas shared his excitement in a press release today from the team "I'm really excited for the season to kick-off, The goal is to fill the arena as much as we can, while still being safe. Although it won't be our
normal, packed arena, we are stoked to get back on the field and play for our fans. It's an exciting step towards
normalcy".
The latest information on single-game tickets can be found on the Albany Empire website but they range from $15 to $110 in price and can be purchased on Ticketmaster or by calling the Times Union Center Box Office at 518-487-2085.
The Empire has five regular-season home games:
-5/29 Ontario Bandits (Season opener)
-6/10 Orlando Predators
-7/17 Jersey Flights
-7/31 Carolina Cobras (Regular-season finale)
