The Albany Empire will forever be the reigning champions of the Arena Football League. It is sad to think we may never see Arena Football in the Capital Region again BUT pretty awesome that Albany will be forever champs. One of the key contributors to the Empire winning the 2019 Arena Bowl was offensive lineman/ offensive weapon, Mo Ruffins. Levack and Goz caught up with "Big Mo" to talk football, see where he is now and discuss the recent protests in the Capital Region.

Hard to imagine after how Albany embraced the Empire and Arena Football at the Times Union Center for a second time that it no longer exists. However as hard as it is for us it was even tougher for the guys that not only made their livings on the TUC turf but LOVE playing the game. Mo Ruffins was nice enough to share how he found out and how he felt about the AFL folding.

One of the reasons we decided to start reaching out to the former Albany Empire players was we saw Ruffins on the news. 6'5 Ruffins is easy to spot in a crowd so when he took part in the Black Lives Matter peaceful protest in Clifton Park the news interviewed him. Mo explains why the time to listen and learn in America is now.
