AlbanyNLL Coach Glenn Clark Can’t Wait To Get To Albany [INTERVIEW]
Albany is getting a professional Lacrosse team back and even though we don't know the team's name yet we do know who will be leading the AlbanyNLL team, Glenn Clark. Coach Clark is a five-time National Lacrosse League champion and three-time all-star as a player. He took over the New England Black Wolves in 2015 and now that the Black Wolves are relocating to Albany so is Clark and he's pretty happy to be coming back to the Time Union Center.
I say "come back to the Times Union Center" because one of those five NLL championships was won on the turf right there on South Pearl street when his Toronto Rock took out the Albany Attack for the title in 2002. Now it'll be Clark's job to win that title for the AlbanyNLL team.
It takes about ten seconds of speaking to Coach Clark to realize he's excited to not only teach his players about the game he loves but he looks forward to teaching Albany fans all about "Box Lacrosse". We here in the Capital Region are blessed to have a program Like UAlbany that consistently shows up in the NCAA top 25 and whose Alumni are all over the NLL. So there's already a growing love of outdoor lacrosse here but indoor AKA Box lacrosse and what we see UAlbany and Siena play are different games. Listen as Coach Glenn Clark joined Levack and Charlie and hear for yourself why we believe Albany has the right man for the job.

Don't forget to help name the new AlbanyNLL team by going to AlbanyNLL.com and submitting your suggestion.
