What in the wide world of horrid ideas is goin' on here?  Bryce Harper walks to the plate while Bieber is blasted?  Really?

Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper is having an eventful rookie season.  Heading into Wednesday's matchup with the Tampa Bay Rays, Harper has been productive with a .289 batting average with 7 home runs and 19 RBIs in 173 at bats.  He accidentally hit himself in the face with a bat that he broke in frustration.  Harper has also had one of his quotes repeated by a politician this week

That's not where the events end for ole Bryce Harper.  The 20-year old rookie has made a dreadful selection by electing to walk up to the plate for his at bats by listening to Justin Bieber's song "Boyfriend."  Really, Bryce?  Come on, bud.  Bieber?  Seriously?

Other than losing a bet, this is dirty pool.  Based on principle, you can't walk up for an at bat while Bieber is being blasted over the loud speakers.  Bieber isn't macho and players who elect to use Bieber's music are instantly less macho.  I've said on "The Noe Show" that I would walk up to "Master of Puppets" by Metallica.  It's heavy.  It's macho.  It has the perfect message for a baseball game; you're the master while your opponent is the puppet.  Perfect!  Get some Pantera going or something, Bryce.  Let's restore some order in the universe here.
