Niskayuna baseball player Garrett Whiltey was projected as the No.12 pick in Keith Law's latest Mock Draft this past week and ESPN's Buster Olney recognized the Capital Region product's talent with Armen and Levack on Thursday.

"What I know of him is what I’ve read," said Buster, on 104.5 The Team. "I haven’t seen him in person but Keith Law brought him up on the podcast when we were talking about it and that’s pretty cool.

"You guys are going to have the opportunity it sounds like for the next 15 to 20 years to talk about a kid who you can say, 'We saw him back when.'"

Some of the biggest and best in the business have had big things to say about Whitley, including the Editor-in-Chief of Baseball America, John Manuel.

“He ran from home to first in 3.8 seconds on a ground ball from the right side, I mean that is Mike Trout Level speed," said Manuel.
