The BYU basketball player, who was suspended last season after admitting he had premarital sex, has been reinstated to the team.

BYU takes its honor code very seriously.  Having premarital sex is a big no-no.  The team announced the suspension of Brandon Davies on March 1.  The forward missed the final eight games of BYU's Sweet 16 season.

Davies was the third-leading scorer and leading rebounder for the Cougars last season.  Losing Davies was a big setback to BYU's Final Four aspirations.  Following the suspension from the basketball team, Davies voluntarily withdrew from school and was required to meet certain stipulations in order to re-enroll.

"I'm excited to be back at BYU and look forward to the future," Davies said in a statement Friday.  "I'm grateful for this opportunity."
