When the New York Yankees began their Four Game series with the Detroit Tigers my hopes were a split. The Tigers have the makings of a World Series team and the biggest achievement this season was a sweep over the injured Tampa Bay Rays. So by that measuring stick today is a no lose situation for the Bronx Bombers already up 2 - 1 in the series...BUT now I really want to see Masahiro Tanaka pitch like he did last season and lead the Yankees to their second series win of the season.
