The MAAC Council of Presidents has decided that all Fall Sports conference and non-conference will begin on September 11th, 2020. This will make for a level playing field across the entire MAAC and reportedly would still allow the Siena Saints basketball teams to complete a full season.

The Siena College Fall semester will start and end early this year in an attempt to avoid a potential second wave of the coronavirus. This seems like a great idea to me for students. However, I wonder if this will affect the basketball season. Men's Basketball coach Carmen Maciariello joins Levack and Goz to shed a little light on how preparations for the coming season are going and will the early semester has any effect on the team.

Coach stopped by for his weekly interview on Levack and Goz

Siena Women's Basketball coach Ali Jaques joined Levack and Goz to update the Capital Region on what's happening with the team. Jaques has had a great recruiting year adding some great talent to the team. We ask here how she feels about the challenges of coaching in the COVID-19 era and why her entire team registering to vote is so important to her.

What players were snubbed?

It's not hard to figure out why the players, staff and fanbase at Siena embraced Men's basketball head coach Carm Maciariello. Coach Carm came in from day one with a message of competitiveness and compassion. Those two things have not changed. Even in these difficult times of the coronavirus and racial strife in most of the country Coach Carm continues his message of compassion and love.
