On Thursday 104.5 The Team's Digital Correspondent Alex Feuz caught up with Ben Seiler, rising junior on Siena College's Baseball team. On Wednesday, Ben was also announced the MAAC Student-Athlete of the week.

The Albany native describes the last few months as difficult, especially for his teammates that were seniors who lost their senior year.

Ben said he remembers being in the hotel when head coach, Tony Rossi, called them down to have a meeting that the season has been put on pause. What followed was not surprising, but the idea of everything that has transpired over the last few months have been difficult for everyone involved.

As a pitcher, it is even more challenging to 'stay game-ready', we talked to Coach Rossi on this same topic last week, and today Ben echoed those same thoughts.

"We will take it slow when we hopefully return in the fall, but I am ready to get back on the field and play along with my teammates. I miss it."
