Checking in From Way Up North
The RPI Men's Hockey team is on a trip of a lifetime to the state of Alaska where they are playing 4 games against the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After winning the first game in Fairbanks, Alaska the Engineers were shutout on Saturday. With 2 more games, Coach Dave Smith joined us to talk about the trip. To hear about the awesome experience described by the very expressive Dave Smith listen above! And if you are curious on how cold it is up there in the Last Frontier for the team, you will have to hit the play button.
After a 4-1 start the Buffalo Bills are 7-6, and in danger is missing the playoffs. Close loses to Tampa and New England is nothing to be ashamed of. But if Buffalo is going to make a run in the postseason, they have to beat Carolina on Sunday, before getting a rematch with the Patriots in Foxborough. Still 4 weeks left in the regular season, and still a chance for Buffalo to get on a roll. Scoring touchdowns instead of settling for field goals in the red zone, is an area quarterback Josh Allen needs to figure out. What does Buffalo face to end the season? They host the Panthers before a showdown in Massachusetts with the Patriots. They return to Orchard Park for the final two games of the season against the Falcons and Jets. With a bunch of AFC teams in the mix (the Colts, Browns, Bengals, Broncos, Steelers, Raiders and Dolphins are all 6-7 or better) it'll be incredibly important for the Bills to win 3 of their last 4 games.
