College Soccer Showcase Coming To Capital Region

This April high school girls that are looking for exposure to take their soccer game to the college level will have an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of those same coaches from the next level.  The Cap City College Showcase is the first annual all-turf college showcase located in the capital of New York State, Albany. Up to 64 girls teams will be accepted for the showcase, with age groups ranging from U15-U18. The event is being endorsed by MLS legends Marco 'El Diablo' Etcheverry and Jaime Moreno. Nick Southworth, the varsity soccer coach at Colonie, joined Big Board Sports in studio to break down the details of the event.
