The 2023 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is around the corner, and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, otherwise known as the MAAC, is serving as one of the "host leagues" for the first and second rounds of the tournament. The conference chose The MVP Arena, one of the premier destinations in all of Mid-Major basketball, as their venue for hosting these games.
With eight teams playing at the Capital Region's sports mecca in the next few days, spectators from all around the country will be traveling to Albany, and will need places to stay the night.

It's going to be a busy few days of basketball at The MVP Arena this weekend. Here is the schedule of events on Friday, March 17th:
- 2PM - VCU vs. St. Mary's
- 4:30PM - Iona vs. UConn
- 7:25PM - Drake vs. Miami
- 9:55PM - Kent State vs. Indiana
The first two games of the day represent the NCAA's Western Region, while the third and fourth games represent the Midwest Region. The winners of these games will match-up in second round games, both of which will take place on Sunday, March 19th.
Times of those games are still to be determined.
