After a phenomenal winter season, the recognition keeps rolling in for Section II's best basketball players.

Joe Cremo (Scotia) was named the NYS Class A Player of the Year after helping lead the Tartans to the Section II, Regional, State and Federation championships. He averaged 25.0 points per game in an unbeaten season.

Hoosic Valley's John Rooney earned the same honor at Class C while teammate Mike Pierre was named to the state's first-team.

The scary thing? Both Cremo and Rooney are back next year...
