The March Madness for high school basketball continues as Troy defeated La Salle in epic fashion with a come from behind victory with a last second buzzer beater.  I have to shoutout WNYT Newschannel 13 fir their tremendous coverage and coming to me live to provide play by play as the shot went in.  Good for Jamil Hood as he gave a very raw and emotional interview with me live right after the final buzzer sounded.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

You must give Troy head coach Jamil Hood a lot of credit for his team's incredible come from behind win over La Salle in the Boys Class AA semifinals in Glens Falls on Thursday. Hood is a veteran head whose been through many games when his teams had to battle back, and he knew what buttons to push to keep his team believing. And when you have Stetson Merritt on your team your never out of it. Troy gains plenty of momentum heading into Sundays Championship game against Niskayuna.

There are still so many more games to go and now Troy will take a very good Niskayuna team in the double A's.  What a story and it just shows the power of local sports and how moments like this bring so many people and communities together when rooting for their respective school.  Everybody needs to go to Hudson Valley Community College for the championship games in the sectional playoffs in Section II this weekend.
