Who Will Win The Boys Section II AAA Tournament?

Here we go again with another year and another competitive and tight standings on the boys side for the AAA. Section II high school basketball always delivers. Green Tech is the top overall seed and for good reason as they have won three straight championships. Shaker is very good and there is just another loaded group of teams. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

The Class AAA playoffs in high school girls' basketball should provide high drama with no clear-cut favorite. Colonie is the team to beat because they are the defending champions with everyone back from last year, but you can make a case for several others win it. Albany high is red hot entering the post season and if you get caught looking ahead Guilderland is capable of springing the upset. Shaker have been the best team this season, but Shenendehowa has a record littered with close loses in the Suburban Council that could easily go the other way in the playoffs. Can't wait to get this all started.

There will be so many games on both the boys and girls side coming up at both Hudson Valley Community College and the Cool Insuring Arena. There are always upsets and surprises no matter what classification is happening. Bring on the February Madness as it truly gets no better.
