Effort, Not Record Should Save Todd Bowles’ Job
In all likelihood the Jets will lose their final two games of the season and finish with a 5-11 record. Not good, but better than anybody expected in the preseason, when most predictions had the Jets, at best a two win team. If the Jets can continue to play hard against the Chargers and Patriots, like they did Sunday in New Orleans, then Todd Bowles deserves to return as the head coach in 2018. The Jets have not said much about his job status, but Bowles has earned the chance to get the Jets back on the right track.
