The Albany Empire won their first playoff game last Saturday 61 - 26 over the Baltimore Brigade giving them a 36 point cushion going into game two. The Empire will travel to Baltimore for the second game of the aggregate playoffs against the Brigade this Saturday August 3rd and rookies Tevin Homer Aaron Tiller will look to continue their impact on the defense.

Empire defensive back, Tevin Homer, had four tackles and an interception return for a touchdown, being named Defensive Player of the Game. Tiller made his impact when the Brigade would start from their own three.  Following back-to-back incomplete passes, Boyd would find Rod Windsor along the sideline right at the down marker to move the chains. Attempting to run on first down, Rory Nixon was met at the line by Aaron Tiller for a no-gain.
