ESPN Radio 104.5 Athlete of the Week

Last week's Section II Super Bowls provided five great matchups and crowned five new champions. Perhaps no greater game was played than the Class AA final between Shen and CBA at UAlbany's Bob Ford Field.

I was at that game and saw the Plainsmen beat the Brothers, 25-20. And while there, I witnessed one of the great performances in Section II recent memory. Shen wide receiver Jordan Zlogar finished with 10 catches for 147 yards. He also finished with two interceptions at defensive back.

In the final drive of the game, with the Plainsmen trailing 20-19, Zlogar had four catches for 62 yards. Those 62 yards accounted for all but nine of Shen's yards on that last drive.

Finally, Zlogar now owns Shen records in receptions (50), yards (1,047) and receiving touchdowns (10). He is also now fourth in Section II history in single-season receiving yards.
