Fairfield Pitcher and Guilderland Alum Nick Grabek Joins The Dutch

In an exclusive interview with 104.5 The Team's Alex Feuz, Nick Grabek (Fairfield) will be playing on the Albany Dutch ICBL team this summer.

The news of baseball happening in the capital region, many college baseball players who are in the area received the best news in months. An opportunity to play summer baseball, and for many to play with family members, and past teammates from high school and little league.

Grabek was slated to play for the Bourne Braves (Cape Cod Collegiate Baseball League), but with the cancellation of the 2020 season, he was without baseball this summer. The start-up of the ICBL gives Grabek among everyone else in this league opportunity.

"When I heard of the possibility to play this summer, I started throwing immediately. Here we go, July 7th. Let's do it."

The Albany Dutch's ICBL season is scheduled to begin on July 7th.
