Shannon Eastin is the first on-field official in the NFL.  Would you prefer to never see an NFL referee that is female?

I've never been afraid to speak about delicate issues.  This issue about a female NFL official could definitely be viewed as a delicate subject.  Shannon Eastin will be the very first female official in the National Football League.  Eastin will make her on-field debut in a preseason game between the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.

I am perfectly fine with an on-field female official.  However, this begs the question; would you ever like to see a female referee in the NFL?  The referee makes all of the announcements during a game.  Now, this question is a matter of personal preference.  I'm not big on the idea of a female NFL referee.  I can't envision a situation where it would feel natural for me as a fan to hear a female official explain a penalty with a high-pitched voice.  I'm not suggesting that females could not do the job well.  I'm just saying that it wouldn't appeal to me because it would feel extremely different than having a male referee in the NFL.  It's just a matter of personal preference.  What do you think?
