The Atlanta Braves need Ian Anderson to go deep into Game 3 Friday night in the World Series against the Houston Astros. With Braves starter Charlie Morton done for the rest of the series with a broken leg, and the Braves going with bullpen starts in Games 4 and 5, it’s becomes a very important start for Anderson. If Anderson settles in, the Braves will let him go as far as possible, because they need to save their pen. Ian is unflappable on the mound, and if his changeup is working, Anderson who is making his first World Series start at age 23, will pitch the Braves to a Game 3 win. Joe Patrick covers the Braves and details the Braves historic run to the World Series above!

In terms of the weather, the game tonight could be postponed do to the weather. Tim Kurkjian joined us and helped us figure out the possibility of that. You can listen to that interview below but in terms of what would happen if tonight's game is called off? A lot of games crammed into a few days. The 50% chance of rain both tonight and Saturday would possibly benefit Atlanta allowing Max Fried to be available sooner however the bullpen games would still be stacked up back to back with the games just shifting back a day and Games 6 and 7 would be played without an off day in between. We are hoping to not have the game rained out but if it is, Ian Anderson still has a huge start ahead of him.
