Chris Hogan became an instant fan favorite when he was featured as "7/11" in the 2012 season of "Hard Knocks" on HBO. Hogan played Lacrosse for Penn State before transitioning to football at Monmouth. Hogan's 10 year NFL career included time with the Jets and Bills where the Bills Mafia embraced him. With football behind him, Hogan has entered the Premier Lacrosse League Draft looking to get back to his athletic roots.

The Premier Lacrosse League has a solid history with the Albany Area. Not only have many UAlbany Great Danes like Connor Fields and Blaze Riorden gone on to play in the PLL but the league has played here. In 2019 the PLL played at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium at UAlbany and planned on returning in 2020. There's no reason to think the PLL won't return to Tom & Mary Casey Stadium in 2021. If we do in fact get a weekend of PLL in Albany two time Super Bowl Champion Chris Hogan could be coming with them. We'll have to wait until the PLL draft on March 25th to see which team selects Hogan.

The PLL schedule announcement typically comes out in April so we'll be watching to see if Albany does in fact make it into the 2021 schedule. I will say that the Capital Region's Lacrosse fanbase continues to expand so I'd be shocked if we weren't hosting a weekend.
