Former Dolphins Player Falls in Ocean; Swims Nine Miles to Safety

While fishing in his boat, former Dolphins player Rob Konrad was by himself when he fell out and the boat continued on cruise control.

The only reason why Konrad is still alive is because he swam nine miles to land, where the coast guard picked him up at 4:40 am Thursday morning and brought him to the local hospital.

The fullback was drafted by the Dolphins in 1999.
