In the 13th round of today's MLB Draft, the Texas Rangers drafted Binghamton's Ben Anderson with the 385th overall pick. This is the second time the former Shenendehowa stand out pitcher has been drafted in his career. Anderson was drafted in the 26th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays.This past season for the Bearcats, Anderson was named the America East pitcher of the year. Anderson led the league in wins and complete games along with finishing in top three in ERA, innings pitched and strikeouts.

Anderson is the twin brother of the Ian Anderson who was the third overall pick by the Atlanta Braves in the 2016 MLB draft.
