Before he was a professional, Tim Lynch used to chase down the pros. Lynch spent his childhood in Florida visiting Spring Training sites and Florida State League games as an avid autograph collector.

Now, Lynch, recently drafted in the 9th round by the New York Yankees, is starting his own professional career in the Appalachian League.

He joined us today to talk about how he got the itch for autograph collecting, how many autographs he has and he shares an amazing story about how he obtained an autograph for Royals star Lorenzo Cain.

He also shared his autograph tips for the listeners and talked about the one autograph that he still wants to chase down even now that he is a professional.

And then we talked baseball as well. What were his emotions when being taken by the Yanks and when did he know he could be a pro player?
