New York Yankees' newly acquired Ace pitcher Gerrit Cole is in New York and already answering the toughest question...will he shave? TMZ caught up wiht Cole while he was signing autographs outside of his hotel and got the answer!

Now obviously he's going to shave. Everyone that plays for the Yankees shaves but it was fun to see Cole's Kool Aid smile while he answered to if he'd shave the beard with "unfortunately." The other cool answer that came out of this back and forth was Cole's reply to what excites him about being a Yankees? “What doesn’t excite me? The history, the fans, the city, competitiveness.” The honeymoon phase is strong right now. Here's hoping it continues through winning a World Series or three.
