The Giants top priority in free agency currently sits with linebacker Jon Beason, not veteran defensive end Justin Tuck.

According to NJ.com, the G-Men are "concentrating their efforts" into getting a deal done with Beason before he hits free agency.

General Manager Jerry Reese has spoken very highly of the 29-year old Beason who appeared to be washed up before being traded to New York from Jacksonville for a 7th round pick.

Over two years, Beason only played five games due to injuries. After coming to the Giants in October, the University of Miami product had an immediate impact with the Giants, starting all 11 games that he was available.

Look for the Giants not to worry about their other 21 unrestricted free agents until Beason's deal gets done.
