The New York Giants continue to get bad news involving players injuries. A few hours after hearing whispers about Rashad Jennings not healing as fast as they thought, the team received even worst news.

As reported by multiple Giants beat reporters on Monday, linebacker Jon Beason will have surgery to repair a lingering toe injury that will result in missing the rest of the season.

Beason was one of the Giants biggest signings this off-season. Beason signed a three-year, $16.8 million contract. The deal contains $6.03 million guaranteed, including a $4.4 million signing bonus.
