The New York Giants first year head coach Ben McAdoo has not been at all pleased with the play of his offensive line thus far but re-signing Will Beatty goes down in the books as a desperate move. Beatty, New York's 2009 second round draft pick out of UConn, missed all of last season due to multiple injuries. First it was the torn pectoral, then a torn rotator cuff. He was just released by the Giants in February of this year. That doesn't sound like a player who can come back in and make a real difference. The Giants also gave him a guaranteed contract...and if that's not desperate than I don't know what is.
