The Giants have addressed a lot of concerns in the offseason, most recently filling the void left by the departure of DT Dalvin Tomlinson by bringing in DT Danny Shelton. But is there still some concern when it comes to the offensive line? If you ask Ralph Vacchiano, he would say that Dave Gettlman is confident in the talent that he has already brought in. Read below and listen above for more on our conversation with SNY's Ralph Vacchiano:

  • John Mara seems to be getting a little restless and he is almost acting like a fan. He is talking more based on hope and not reality. There is a lot to prove and the optimism is good but it almost seems like a warning from Mara and he may be out of patience. If the season goes awry, some changes could be coming to Big Blue.
  • As for the offensive line, Gettleman has been talking about the offensive since he came in to New York. Right now, at all 5 positions he believes they have good talented young players and this year those players have to prove him right and they will have that chance. And for Gettleman's sake, they better take the next step.
  • Saquon Barkley's health is still a question mark. If he is good to go expect big things. He should recover and have his same old burst but you never know with backs like him whether he can stay healthy. There is a long-term contract looming so this season playing 16 games will be a big story in terms of getting that deal done and the money that could be asked for.
