With the 2021 MLB Regular Season about to begin, it's time for the staff here at 1045 The Team ESPN Radio to make our predictions. Here's where you find what the members of The Team think will happen this season (or at least the Team members that reply to my emails). Enjoy mocking us if we're wrong and prepare for a giant level of gloating if we are correct. Please feel free to share your prediction with us using the message feature of the Free 1045 The Team App.

I firmly believe that the NL East is the toughest division in baseball, which isn't exactly a bold statement. You can make an argument for all 5 teams to make the playoffs in 2021. With the potential for playoff expansion again this season, I believe 4 NL East teams make the playoffs (Braves, Mets, Nationals, and Phillies) with the Marlins the odd team out (to no fault of their own) if expansion does occur. This division is going to come down to the final week of September.
