As we told you yesterday, Glens Falls freshman (rising sophomore) basketball star Joseph Girard III spent the weekend in Atlanta at the 'Super Sophomore' camp. He was one of 100 rising sophomores at the event and even earned a spot in the 'Top 20' all-star game.

Not only did he earn a spot in that game, he led his team in scoring with 15 points.

Girard joined us today to talk about his experience at the event, how he got invited, how he led the all-star team in scoring and what else he needs to work on this offseason to improve his game.

Furthermore, we talked about the attention that Girard is generating from colleges. He already has an offer from High Point University and has received interest from places like BYU, George Washington and Michigan.

Finally, we asked Girard about what it's like to have Glens Falls native Jimmer Fredette taking notice of his skillset on social media.
