First College Football Playoff Rankings Released Tomorrow. What can we expect-Usually I take this bottom portion of the rankings to explain my positions and recap the rankings. Instead, this week let's focus on what we are likely to see following Tuesday's first edition of the college football playoff. I would expect to see some 1 losses teams (Oklahoma and Ohio State) ahead of some undefeated teams (Wisconsin and Miami). It's not so much that Ohio State's athletic director is on the committee, it's more about the lack of quality of opponents both Wisconsin and Miami have played this season. I'm interested to see how the committee handles a team like Iowa State. The Cyclones have two losses but have wins against Oklahoma and TCU. How high can a non Power 5 conference team get? Central Florida does not have a strong out of conference strength of schedule but with so many losses ahead of them, how will the committee rank the Golden Knights?
