Washington State jumped Washington? - The better question is: What has Washington done to be above Washington State? Because they were better last season? Because they have a better recent history? Washington's non conference schedule was filled with cup cakes. Washington State has beaten USC and Oregon on the road. Give me the Cougars over the Huskies right now.
Why in the world did UCF jump so high after beating?- I know the Golden Knights beat Cincinnati by four touchdowns. Yes they deserve some credit but some could argue not that much. I disagree. Watch this UCF team. The backfield, the offensive line, the secondary. It is a flat out better team than any in the non Power 5 conference. It's possible I could be eating my words in two weeks when they play Navy. I know what I was watching on Saturday. Take the name "UCF" off their jersey and no one could deny they look like a Top 15 team.
Next likely to lose of Top 15 teams?- That's a fun question. Is it a trap game somewhere for Alabama? Does weather effect a TCU game? Can Penn State hang on in a tough Big Ten. We have to wait and see. If you read this weekly poll enough you know my answer. Saturday October 21st: Miami loses to Syracuse!
