Goz's Top 25 College Football Rankings (Week 14)

For the third consecutive season,I will be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college football season. My poll philosophy all season long will remain the same and that is by ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty-five best in the country following that given week’s games. Who is #4? Who will end up as #4? Oklahoma? Ohio State? Georgia? UCF?- Last week I had Georgia as the #5 team in the country. After Michigan's loss to Ohio State, Oklahoma's win over West Virginia and Georgia's win over Georgia Tech. I believe the Bulldogs deserve the #4 spot... for now. The Bulldogs are a double digit underdog against the Crimson Tide. If the Bulldogs can win, it still may not even be enough. Oklahoma has an opprunity to avenge their lone loss of the season against Texas in the Big 12 title game. If the Sooners get that victory, they will be the #4 team based on what they did for an entireity of the season. Why not Ohio State if they beat Northwestern? The Buckeyes have a bad loss against at a 6-6 Purdue team. Maryland and Nebraska finished a combined 9-15 and Ohio State only defeated them by a combined 6 points What if Georgia, Ohio State and Oklahoma all lose? Yes it can happen! If all three teams lose, an undefeated UCF should be in the college football playoff over multiple Power 5 conference two loss teams. It should be an exciting weekend for sure.
