New York Jets backup quarterback Christian Hackenberg is active for Sunday's regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills, and they should play him. Why not? Ryan Fitzpatrick is not going to be around next season for the Jets, and Hackenberg deserves a chance to get his feet wet in a regular season game. Rookie quarterbacks have been given a chance all season long around the NFL, and for Hackenberg to stand on the sidelines in a meaningless game would be another bad decision by head coach Todd Bowles.
