The New York Jets took care of business at home as they get a much needed win against the Kansas City Chiefs 37-10.

As the Jets are chasing behind a number of teams for the wild card spots in the AFC, they got an important win on Sunday with their victory. In addition, they got some big help as both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tennessee Titans lost, allowing them to move past both teams. Now, the Jets need help from the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders as the Jets don't have the tie-breaker against both of those teams.

The Jets got some huge play from Mark Sanchez. Sanchez on Sunday became the first New York Jet quarter back to throw for two touchdowns and rush for two more. He threw for 181 yards with the two touchdowns. He also had a quarterback rating of 121.3 in the game.

Shonn Greene also had a huge game with a career high 129 rushing yards with a rushing touchdown as well. Greene also had 58 receiving yards as well for a grand total of 187 yards!

Though the Jets did suffer a huge loss in the game. Their safety Jim Leonhard did leave the game with a knee injury. It appeared to be the same knee he injured during last season. After the game, it was rumored from Darrelle Revis that Leonhard is now lost for the season. The Jets were already limited in safety and now they will have to go the remainder of their season, yet again, without their defensive captain.

The New York Jets next play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday as they continue to push themselves towards a wild card playoff berth.
