After a terrific rookie season with the Atlanta Hawks that earned Kevin Huerter second team all-rookie honors, the Clifton Park native is experiencing a summer at home that's different than any ever before.

If there were any doubters about the success Huerter might have in the NBA, he quickly silenced those critics. The 20-year swingman averaged 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game while starting 59 of the 75 games he played. Huerter's time spent at home is now filled with constant requests from people who want his presence at community events, basketball clinics and even some commercials.

After a rookie season in which he averaged double figures, Huerter could be in for a big second year in the NBA. The 6-7 sharpshooter made a large leap from his freshman to sophomore years at Maryland and 2019-'20 could be a carbon copy of that improvement with more and more people in Huerter's ear urging him to be more aggressive.

Kevin Huerter stopped into the 104.5 The Team studio to hang out on Big Board Sports with Rodger and Chris.
