‘Kick Off’ Your Fall With These Must-Visit New York Football Destinations
Football season is FINALLY upon us!
We've waited through the cold and rain of the spring, and the intense heat of the summer, before finally emerging into the crisp air of the fall, and the sight of kick-off for NFL, NCAA and high school-level football teams.
So, as you, the football fan, begin to plan your fall itinerary, why not add a few stops along the way in New York?
To help you put together your road-trip map for the upcoming football season, we've dug around, and put together five trips that every Empire State football fan should consider taking before the 2022 season comes to a close.
When constructing this list, we added in options at every level: from high school, all the way to the professional ranks.
Here's what I can take away from putting this list together: in comparison to states in the southern part of the country, New York may not have the richest football tradition, but there are some hidden gems that are definitely worth checking out. Venues with decades of history, rivalries dating back over a century, and some of the most promising up-and-coming talent in the state make up parts of our list of must-visit destinations.
With that all being said, here are five destinations across New York, mainly upstate with one downstate addition, that should be on every football fan's list of places to visit this upcoming fall. Which destination is at the top of your list?
