Ricky Pearsall, WR, SF
104.5 Rank: 135 (WR56) ESPN Rank: 194 (WR72)

- John Lynch/Kyle Shanahan were higher on Pearsall than just about every talent evaluator
- Will be entering a highly productive offense
- Outstanding route runner at the collegiate level
- Trust Shanahan to get this guy open
- Deebo injury history could lead to increased opportunities for Pearsall

- Sharing backfield with two RBs who have had major injuries in the past (Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins)

- Has shown he could handle high volume at the collegiate level
Keaton Mitchell, RB, BAL
104.5 Rank: 146 (RB50) ESPN Rank: 171 (RB55)
- Off a late season ACL tear, when healthy will be the clear RB2 behind Derrick Henry

- Ravens have been a top 3 rushing offense in the NFL for 5 straight seasons
PLAYERS TO AVOID AT ESPN RANKING:
Now, the players that are listed below all have the potential to outperform my lower expectations. However, where they are currently ranked has me concerned about their real ceilings as fantasy contributors.
Kyren Williams, RB, LAR
104.5 Rank: 34 (RB12) ESPN Rank: 11 (RB6)
- Non-factor in Rams passing game
- Virtually guaranteed to see less work than he got last season
- Rams drafted Blake Corum in round 3
- Currently ranked at his absolute ceiling
- Efficiency will likely be down in '24
Michael Pittman Jr, WR, IND
104.5 Rank: 64 (WR31) ESPN Rank: 19 (WR11)
- Won't be a high volume passing offense with Richardson under center
- Has never broken 6 TD's in three seasons in the league
- Inefficient as a redzone receiver
- Underrated Colts receiving core he'll compete with
- Run first offense with Richardson and Taylor
Mike Evans, WR, TB
104.5 Rank: 39 (WR20) ESPN Rank: 20 (WR12)
- Has a clearly established floor, limited ceiling
- Highly unlikely to return value on where he's being drafted
- Depends too much on occasional breakouts
- Godwin likely to be more involved in 2024, along with added weapons on offense
Derrick Henry, RB, BAL
104.5 Rank: 57 (RB17) ESPN Rank: 22 (RB10)
- Historical data for the RB position strongly against Henry, entering his age 30 season
- Will not see the workload he saw in Tennessee, with Ravens always going RB by committee
- Offers very little upside as a pass catcher
- Rushing TD projections by analysts are loftier than my expectation
- Will have plenty of competition for redzone touches
Rachaad White, RB, TB
104.5 Rank: 49 (RB16) ESPN Rank: 23 (RB11)
- One of the leagues least efficient RBs in terms of rushing
- Entirely dependent on role as a pass catcher
- Vegas projects Bucs offense to be worse than it was in '23
- Bucs brought in competition with Oregon RB Bucky Irving
Calvin Ridley, WR, TEN
104.5 Rank: 74 (WR36) ESPN Rank: 48 (WR25)
- Had an opportunity to be elite in 2023, and was incredibly inconsistent
- Enters a worse situation with stiffer competition at the receiver position than he had in Jacksonville
- Among 81 qualifying wide receivers in 2023, Ridley ranked 44th in yards per route run and 42nd in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data)
- Name value driving up his price on ESPN formats
Najee Harris, RB, PIT
104.5 Rank: 108 (RB35) ESPN Rank: 77 (RB27)
- Limited upside in the passing game
- Uncertainty with the Steelers offense in 2024
- Pittsburgh rushing attempts will likely go down this season
- Jaylen Warren has proven to be a legit option in this backfield, and is primed for a bigger role in 2024
Diontae Johnson, WR, CAR
104.5 Rank: 124 (WR53) ESPN Rank: 82 (WR35)
- Ranked at his ceiling
- Could easily finish as the third best receiver in this offense, with Thielen and rookie Xavier Legette
- Bryce Young likely won't improve to the point of making Johnson a weekly option
- Allergic to the endzone
Terry McLaurin, WR, WAS
104.5 Rank: 116 (WR48) ESPN Rank: 83 (WR36)
- Historical data does not favor McLaurin with a rookie signal caller
- Will be a run first offense, with Daniels, Robinson, and Ekeler
- First year coaches across the board for Washington
- Hasn't had more than five touchdowns in a season since 2019
- Upside isn't there compared to others on the board at 83
Javonte Williams, RB, DEN
104.5 Rank: 148 (RB52) ESPN Rank: 97 (RB29)
- Has had a string of bad luck at the NFL level
- Major injury history
- Was not the same back he was in 2022 last season after the injury
- Efficiency was down across the board in '23
- McLaughlin will see increased role in 2024
- Will likely not be involved on third down
