All week long at 104.5 The Team, we are prepping you for baseball season by talking to a different Capital Region native who is getting ready for Spring Training:

On Monday, we talked to JP Sportman (La Salle/Oakland Athletics) and today we brought in Jaime Schultz, a Maple Hill graduate who is a pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays system.

Schultz spent the 2015 campaign in AA with the Montgomery Biscuits and put up huge numbers. He made the Southern League All-Star team while leading the Southern League in strikeouts with 168 in 135 innings.

We asked Schultz about what his 2015 season did for him in terms of confidence while also asking him what he is looking to improve upon in 2016.

Furthermore, we asked Schultz about if he's had a chance to talk to Garrett Whitley, the Niskayuna native who the Rays drafted in 2015 with their first-round pick. What is his advice to the young Capital Region youngster?
