It’s very early, but new manager Mickey Callaway has pushed all the right buttons with the Mets. They own the best record in baseball after 11 games of their season, and a lot of that is because of Callaway. He’s changed the climate, and players are having fun again. The biggest difference is how he handles the pitching staff. Callaway had no managerial experience when he took the job, but he was a former pitching coach with a great reputation. So far it’s looking like a great hire.
