On Tuesday night, Kobe Bryant and several Lakers joined the list of growing NBA players to wear "I Can't Breathe" shirts.

Commissioner Adam Silver, who was courtside in Brooklyn on Monday, where Lebron and others wore the shirts, commented on the actions of the players, via Yahoo! Sports and The New York Times:

“I respect Derrick Rose and all of our players for voicing their personal views on important issues, but my preference would be for players to abide by our on-court attire rules.”

The shirts are in support of the late Eric Garner's family.
