NCAA Basketball Preseason Polls Released

We are just a week away from the opening of the college basketball season and its a grueling early season for our local teams.

Take a look at the preseason polls:

Siena opens up its season playing its first two games against Duke and Wisconsin. While they look different than a season ago due to graduation and the NBA Draft, those are the two teams that played in the national championship game a year ago.

Regardless, those are two of the best programs in the sport and its good for Siena to get the exposure to recruits and to get the national attention.

UAlbany will open up its season on Nov. 13 against Kentucky. The Wildcats, ranked No.1 in the Coaches Poll and No.2 in the AP Poll, always boast a lot of talent: See below:

The  Danes have been to the NCAA tournament for the past three years and figure to be very good within the America East Conference again.

Can they surprise Kentucky?
