Nike Raises The Price Of NFL Jerseys

Nike has made it more expensive to show your fan pride. Nike who offer three styles of jersey raised the price of two of the three styles with no notice to fans. Nike is entering the third year of a three year deal with the NFL to produce their uniforms.

When Nike took over for Reebok they raised the lowest priced "Game" jersey from $85 to $100 but told fans they used a different material. Now Nike has raised the price of the "Limited" jersey, which has embroidered twill numbers and letters in place of the silicon printing on the Game jersey from $135 to $150. The "Elite" jersey which is the closest to what the players wear on the field jumped 20% from $250 to $295.

No word from Nike why the raise in price occurred.
