Eric LeGrand is the Rutgers football player who was paralyzed last October from the neck down following a collision during a kickoff.  LeGrand is making great progress in his recovery.

Eric LeGrand posted pictures on Twitter of himself standing during a therapy session.  LeGrand also included a few messages.  "Standing up little by little in therapy," he tweeted.  "Standing tall, we can't fall.  Standing upright again," he wrote.

The former defensive tackle was able to stand for seven minutes on Wednesday.  It required the use of his neck and shoulder muscles to be able to do so.

Doctors only gave LeGrand a 5 percent chance of regaining neurological function following his injury.  However, within a week he moved his shoulder.  He also was also taken off a ventilator in early November.  Hopefully, he'll be able to make even more progress in the near future.
