Last night, Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams made history on CBS' reality show Big Brother (the next paragraph contains spoilers from the season finale of Big Brother below. You have been warned)

The former NFL standout lost in the finals of the show to entertainer Tamar Braxton. Williams was one of the final four contestants for the grand prize including Braxton, Dina Lohan and Lolo Jones. In the final competition of the series, Williams won the game's Head of Household power which allowed him to pick the other finalist with him in the final two votes. Williams first eliminated Dina Lohan followed by Lolo Jones. The elimination of Jones shocked studio audience members and fans online as both Williams and Jones had been in an alliance all season.

The final nine members of the jury then voted on this year's winner. For the first time in Celebrity Big Brother history and for just the second time in US Big Brother history, Tamar Braxton won with a unanimous vote.

If you missed this season of Big Brother, it is available on demand on the CBS All-Access app. Plus, a new non-celebrity edition of Big Brother returns to CBS this June.
