It seems just about every event we look forward to has been canceled thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Colonie High School's "Raider Fest" is no exception to those cancellations. Raider Fest has been the end of the school year event where students, school officials, and members of the community could come together for fun and to raise money for great causes. The students at Colonie High have decided that just because they can't gather in person doesn't mean they can't gather virtually and still do some good for Northern Rivers. This year you can join in on the "Dash of Kindness" virtual 5K.

Colonie Central High School Associate Principal Thomas Kachadurian and two of the student organizers joined Levack and Goz to tell us all about the 5K.

Participants can run, jog, or walk on the road, trail, or treadmill. Runners/walkers can participate at their convenience and document the experience by posting a photo of themselves with their race tag using #DashOfKindness.
