Tuesday was a typical busy night in high school hoops with 28 games on the boys schedule with an additional 14 in girls basketball. A big thank you to Bethlehem High School athletic director Len Kies and BCHS student Sasha Jo for the awesome photographs. All athletic department contributions are enthusiastically accepted by our 104.5 The Team sports crew!

Since Sasha Jo provided awesome pictures of the Bethlehem taking on Shaker in girls basketball, we'll start there. The Eagles put up 10 extra on the Bison for a 59-49 victory and Colonie beat Guilderland 69-30. In other girls basketball Albany downed Niskayuna 49-36, while Averill Park beat Saratoga 64-49. Mechanicville got by Cambridge 56-43 and Icabod Crane handled Lansingburgh 61-40. There are more girls games!

Greenwich had a big night with a 69-36 win over visiting Hoosick Falls, while Burnt Hills shut down Troy 53-29. Fort Plain held off OESJ 47-39, while Schalmont put up 81 on Albany Academy for a 81-44 victory. Catholic Central beat Mohonasen big and Shenendehowa did the same to Ballston Spa. Argyle posted a nice win 61-49 over Granville.

Let's get to boys hoops on Tuesday. Niskayuna stayed hot as they got by Albany 55-51, while Shenendehowa knocked off Ballston Spa 68-54. Colonie downed Guilderland 68-56, while Averill Park beat home team Saratoga 49-44. LaSalle beat Cohoes 60-52, as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk edged Cobleskill 52-49. CBA shut down Schenectady 67-34, while Catholic Central dropped 96 on Mohonasen for a big victory. Shaker snuck by Bethlehem 46-43, while Maple Hill beat Watervliet 64-59.

Argyle knocked off Granville 52-48 and Lake George put up 70 on Whitehall to their 44 for the win. Salem beat Fort Edward 61-51 and Loudonville Christian held down Germantown 64-34. Scotia edged Glens Falls 51-50, while Lansingburg's defense got it done against Icabod Crane for a 58-39 victory. Hartford defeated Fort Ann 64-30 and North Warren battled Hadley-Luzerne 52-47 for the win.
